As nobody has said what days they prefer, I propose a weekend in early April at Charnwood Forest, which according to the website comes in at £40 including coffee and bacon roll on arrival and a one course meal after.

Let's say Sunday 16th April, obviously I haven't discussed this with Charnwood Forest yet and until we have a minimum of 9 interested parties I won't be doing so.

It's a bit further north than I would have gone for ideally - nearly two hours drive each way in a day is a bit much for me. Also thought it would be a weekday, not sure the wife will be happy me taking a whole Sunday away. Maybe see you guys on the next one.

That's called giving up! I cant do week-days in term time, would have to be school holidays for me!

I would love to join you if it suited you and others to play Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday 3-5th, 10-12th or 17-19th (so I can tag a day's annual leave onto my weekly east mids trip.
No worries if that's a bit needy of me though.

I imagine afternoons would be better for those travelling a bit of distance to get here.

I'm wondering whether @upsidedown would be interested in Thur 19th.
Shropshire Seniors are playing Leicestershire Seniors the day after. How about a free practice round the day before? Bring a friend? Stop at Ibis (very cheap) on the A46.
