Am sure I read somewhere that he was taking elocution lessons to soften his voice/accent to be more appealing to the watching public. That might be the case but it's not stopped him talking horse manure.

As dull as Owen is I can't blame him for all of it. BT coverage is poor full stop, not 1 interesting pundit at all, they show his Jake whatever his name is has as much charisma as sawdust.
For the money they charge to non BT customer the product they provide is absolute garbage. I avoid BT games like the plague and until they overhaul the setup I'll continue to do so and don't even mention the filler programs like Lifes a Pitch woeful!

Owen is terrible but at least they got rid of the feature where they kept cutting Mark Halsey in on the audio every time there was any sort of incident.

I never really liked Neville as a player but he's an excellent pundit. Opposite for Carragher,didn't mind him as a player but shocking pundit.
