No mats, full greens, frozen solid - no problem at my course.

They're probably not concerned about damage to the red tees 'cos it's only women that play off them so it doesn't matter.

See I was told originally (before tees became for everyone) that say the club expects say 4 women golfers per day but 30 men that the foot fall didn't warrant mats for the lady's tees as wouldn't be as damaged

My group played our pre Christmas game off the reds for a change. Made for a very different game, and was most enjoyable for a change.

We played a follow the flag before Christmas so red tees for red (front) flags, yellow tees for yellow flags (middle) and white tees (back) for white (back of green) flag. Some interesting options on several holes
