Mediums etc.

My daughter went to a few shows after my wife died. She is a bit of a believer.

I cannot say I am a total disbeliever following several 'occurences' within the family over the years. My mother reckoned she saw 'ghosts' on two occasions in a house she lived in. She also had a physchic connection with my sister which I saw several times. e.g my mother would say " I must ring Pat" get up from her chair and before she got to the phone it rang and it was my sister phoning her.

There was a pub I stayed at in Cirencester for about 4 weeks what happened to one of my colleagues ( he woke in the early hours to find a small monk like figure at the end of his bed) and the stories that came out from the Prudential training staff and the bar staff as a consequence would have most people believing.

If it brings someone comfort or peace of mind or helps them cope, then good luck to them.

Totally agree the fraudsters should be dealt with, but I don’t really agree with telling someone they are wrong or naive if it helps them.

Many people will dismiss mediums whilst believing in God.

Never been to one myself, but have experienced a couple of situations/incidents I’ve been unable to explain, so sort of on the fence whether there is such a thing as ghosts or the afterlife etc.

Yep - it maybe a placebo affect but if it gives people a bit of hope and peace then I have no issues with it

Millions around the world believe in religion etc so can’t see why people can’t believe in spirits etc

I watched him on Most Haunted a few times. I thought he was very entertaining but whether he was making contact with the spirits is very doubtful. I try and have an open mind around all things paranormal but mediums and spiritualists come a very long way down the list of things that could be plausible

Not a medium but an American "Preacher" by the name of Oral Roberts once told his audience that god was going to kill him unless they paid him 8 million$$$s! Incredibly it actually worked!

I thought there were stacks of consumer laws against advertising / trading with false claims!!

As I believe I'm a 'medium' I'll sell you a spiritual driver for £5,000 that I have been told by one of your ancestor will give you a 350 yard carry - any takers?

And if you buy this spiritual driver for £5,000 and it doesn't carry 350yards, you're not praying hard enough.
