Afternoon Guys and girls,

I am joining in on this mid week golf malarky and was wondering how everyone is getting on. If we are teeing off at roughly 5pm are people making it round the full 18?

Also for anyone who has a powakaddy or equivilent this will be my first outing with it. I gave it its initial charge on Sunday night of roughly 14 hours and havent really touched it since. Will it need a charge before I play tomorrow or should I be good to go? The thought of everyone laughing at me when I make it to the 7th and the battery drains is enough to check with anyone on here?

Got round the full 18 lastnight and started at 5 o'clock. As for the powakaddy it is good to go. I picked mine up at the pro shop at my club where it had a few hours charge and it done the full 18 and was ready for more.

Did the green light come on when you were charging the battery, if so your good to go.

Never thought I would be so happy to lose an hours sleep until I took up golf.

I played at 5.30 yesterday, and it was dark ish at 7.45, so I doubt you will get 18 in unless you are pretty quick and the course is empty.

If, like me, you end up behind the only 4 ball on the course, who are crawling round like snails, and won't let you through, then you will be lucky to get 13 in, which is what we did.

Have played the last three days in amazing sunshine. Not working at the moment so plenty of time to get round.

However, I am sunburnt - remember sun cream people!!

At a local 9 hole I have been to recently your not usually battling the sunlight... When the pro shop closes the guy locks the gate, if your car is stuck in your in there till morning!

remember Davey with Powakaddys just click the wheels out of the 'drive' position and it then just works like a normal push trolley if the battery runs down:thup: clever stuff:clap:
