Matchplay finals today.

We had our pairs matchplay finals today. And lost 3&2, must say we played pretty well. If it was stableford I would have scored 38 points, with my partner scoring 35 (played on till 18).

TBH we played ok, scored well but they where far too strong for us, the only holes we lost where to birdies and an eagle.

Bad luck. At least you ca say you lost to a team playing decent golf and didn't just chuck it away

Treat it as a learning curve,

You played your best and you can do no more.

I won our 4BBB KO at our club a couple of years ago we played ok golf but they played shite and one of their pairing was a scratch golfer who had beat Sergio Garcia in the not so distant pass !!!

What I am trying to say is it is on the day that counts...keep on trucking

Bad luck Ken , remember it takes a lot of good golf to even get to the final in the first place. Any improvement next year will bring the title though
