Masters , tricked up and unfair ?

I didn't really enjoy the back nine last night. It might just be me but when Scott won and even the year before that, the flags seemed more accessible and players could attack more. Last night it all seemed a case of par at all costs.

I think a score of 7 or 8 under to win any major is about right. Any more and it gets a bit too easy, but I don't really want to see pros getting very beat up and the winner shooting level par after 4 rounds. As in my opinion that is when it turns into a bit of a lottery.

The top 3 were a cumulative 3 under par for the weekend. Rory was better than that by himself!
Bubba -1
Blixt Level
Spieth -2

Effectively (give or take a shot) Bubba played par golf for 2 rounds to win...

Yawnsville

Don't enjoy it ,not my cup of tea watching tricked up greens ,all it needed was another pin on the green as some of them were like Power Play pins, the one on the 3rd gave them nowt to aim at roll on the Open and the US Open.

You are wanting fair pin placements and a good test of golf from the US Open?;)

If The Masters was boring, the US Open is far worse! I can play double bogie golf anytime, so, I don't want to see the top pro's doing it. 10 under par is good for me, I want to see them pull off shots that I dream of doing not duffing their iron in because the USGA has tricked it up so only the winner breaks par!

I'm fairly sure this will have been posted before, but worth a repeat for a giggle.....

One thing I don't like about the masters is seeing the pros trying to nervously trickle in a two foot putt only for it to end up even further away. I think it's possible to make greens too fast....

Not far from the truth here..... :D
