Lost the plot?

Just watched the brief interview on the BBC.

Seems to find himself totally blameless to the Mackems current plight.

He is so far up his own backside.

No plan B? "That is ridiculous" he replies.

Martin, you had no plan B when riding high with us in the Mickey Moose league and nothing has changed!!

His football is horrid to witness. Shame he didn't get that international job when he was in the frame for it.;)

I think there are a few managers that do the rounds from club to club without really being 'good'. They have success at 1 maybe 2 clubs or 1 excellent season/promotion and spend the rest of their management career on the back of it.

He has always been a bit slf righteous if you ask me.

If I remember correctly he was linked with the Liverpool job at one point aswell, thank god he didnt get it! :D

He can manage England for me as we are pants anyway.

Completely overrated manager in my opinion.

Left Norwich after a fall out over spending money

If I had spent the money he spent at Celtic I could have won the league with them, once he realised spending needed to be cut back he walked away.

Spent millions at Villa, once he realised spending needed to be cut walked away and every manager since has failed due to the cutbacks needed since his overspend.

Spent millions at Sunderland and was punted with them in serious threat of relegation, and going by his previous if Sunderland had gone down would no doubt have walked away when the cuts were to be made

He has been up his own backside for as long as I can remember to be honest Dodger and he has that really annoying trait of not making eye contact when talking to people. Anyone who cant look into the eyes of the person they are speaking to cannot be trusted

.

Leicester must be one of those clubs, he'd be welcomed back here with open arms, already being talked about but there's no way he'd come back.

He's always been cute enough to move on before he got found out up until now. Surprised that this was the first time he has been sacked as a manager. It's just a shame he's taking a big club like Sunderland down with him.

I wonder where he'll pop up next, maybe the USA or maybe the Far East 'cause he surely can't get another job in this country ;)

For as much as I live him to bits and is a legend in these parts I don't think a return would be good. If it didn't work out he would tarnish the memories of the good times. No plan b seems to be Pearsons moto too!

I follow Celtic and had a season ticket for many years when O'Neill was there and he did well to a degree, winning several titles ,cups and a treble, also reached a euro final getting beat by porto in extra time........... however as stated his style of football he sets his teams out to play would bore you to tears!! if he could he'd fill his team with 6ft 5" guys all day and miss out the midfield, he also threw away 2 league titles during his stay to a very ordinary Rangers team!! And was lucky he inherited Henrik Larsson, also rarely played any type of creative player as this went against his style of play, Lubo Moravcik was one of the best players i have had the pleasure of watching, unfortunately O'Neill rarely used him:angry: I for one wouldnt want him back at Celtic
