He has clearly grown into the US tour which isn't an easy thing to do and seems able to mix it most weeks wotht he established stars. Clearly he'll need to play a few more European events to make sure he has the number of starts required to be eligible for the RC but with his experience in the US I reckon if he continues 2012 as he played in 2011 he'll be a wildcard at worse and very likely to be there by right. A major winner? That is a big call and I'm not convinced but as Clarke and Bradley showed its about getting right for 4 days so why not although I won't be putting any cash on him

He seems to be one of those guys who goes quietly about his business and I tend to forget about until I see him on the first page of the leaderboard. Definately seems to have the game and temperament to do well and seems like a good guy too. Here's hoping he has a good season. You can never have enough Europeans winning stateside

Pleased Laird is doing well, the only Scot to be anywhere in the rankings presently. Saw him close up at the Scottish Open last year and he's very controlled.
Have to say he does come across as fairly dull, not his fault but there are just so many automaton golfers out there now, where are the characters anymore?
I didn't care for Monty much but at least there was more than a bit of personality there - got people talking.
