I am very lucky, my wife is pleased I am taking exercise and knows that I a more relaxed and nicer person to be around after a bot of fun with the lads at the end of a hard week.
I have mates who actually say "I'm not allowed to play this weekend". I simply cannot fathom what sort of a life that is. It's not for me I can tell you that.

I previously suggested that the man in question resort to physical violence in order he could get his point across. Whilst I thought this was a reasonable answer to the problem, some others didn't, so I appologise to anyone who found my post offensive.
I have given the problem a great deal of thought, and have come up with a plan "B". I would suggest the gentleman in question go and play as often as possible, and then spend at least an hour in the 19th afterwards. As a result of this she will either learn to live with his hobby, or leave him. Either way he can't lose, as he will either get to play golf, or lose a wife who is obviously substandard, and not fit for the purpose.
I have been married for about a hundred years now, and am quite lucky. Whilst my wife no longer looks very nice, she is always happy to see the back of me for a few hours. I have friends with demanding wives, and it's not uncommon for these woman to make unreasonable time demands. Once a man gives into these demands he is going to go down that slippery slope and end up in the land of misery.
