Marie from Roxette RIP

Very sad news the death of Marie Fredrikson from Roxette. Very talented lady, great voice and very brave with her struggle with cancer for 17 years.

Will always remember her look in the 80’s, and regret missing the chance to see Roxette live.

Saw this earlier. Worked so hard to get back to a degree of health following the initial treatment and record and tour again. Definitely one of the voices of the 80's

Always thought she was loverly, massive respect to fight it for that length of time. Also always thought they (Roxette) were excellent.

I say this as a devout 90s raver but their song Listen to your Heart was something of genius in terms of sequencing, vocals and arrangement.
Marie had some vocal range on her. And the looks and attitude to match.
