Looks like they are (along with City) not going to get through to the Champions League KO. I can see them winning nothing this season.

Not good this season are they? Defence look shaky and they spent money there, Phil Jones looked like a great buy.

I agree as it happens, can't see them winning anything this season. Things will change after christmas like they do every season but if United lose in the FA cup to City it will pretty much end their season. If they win though, it could get interesting.

As our champions league slots are based on past performance, is it possible that we could lose a slot on the back of this? I dont know the answer, probably as I am a Palace fan, it has never occured to me to understand exactly how this works!

The s word is all too often used to describe the other half of a derby match. For us gooners, it's the tiny totts, for city it's the mancs, etc. Each too their own.

Me, I love it that the mancs are out. Boo hoo. But, as beneficiaries of the fourth place all too often recently, this could have a Knock on. Apparently it cannot affect next year. But the year after....?

personaly id rather see teams & players i know in the knockout stages , im an everton fan but when teams aint playing us or it doesnt efffect on us i like to see the good teams go head to head , as a football fan would you rather watch barca v utd or barca v basel or lyon ?

It's getting late, I'm using my iPhone, it is much quicker removing a block than editing individual posts. To be honest, if this was a non OOB topic and was about something golfy then I would have spent more time on it.
