Just back in from Machrihanish.

Only played today, not like most of the others who have played at least Saturday and some Friday as well.

Had a great day, even if it was a 3 hour drive in each direction. Payed with Gavin, Campbell and Stevie great company and a tight game that Campbell and I just sneaked.

Course generally was good, but the greens were disappointing, a bit like ours a couple of years ago. Seemingly everyone else knew they would be like this, must have missed the memo :-)

Big thank you to Crawford for being chief organiser and Jezz from the magazine for kindly donating some prizes as well as joining up for the weekend.

Same time next year guys ?

Gr8 weekend as you say Alan. Craw does us proud.

Gr8 to meet all the new guys. Valentino, Fat Tiger, Dave and Jeez and all the old faces.

Kirsty was pretty healthy too.

Apart from they eye brows Andy, they were something else.

Had a great time at my first big forum meet, enjoyed the golf with all playing partners I had and enjoyed the company in the boozer.

Not convinced on Mach as a course but I'm sure it would grow on me, loved the dunes as a course a true test of your talent and needs every shot in the bag just a shame about the greens.

I'm all for signing up for next year also.

You were happy to borrow her pen to touch up the hairline lmao

This outing is a must every year just for the Craic.

Kemlo line lol

It's becoming just a wee spin round the road now! A cracking job as always Crawford.

Enjoyed catching up with lots of old and new folk. Food and accommodation was senconD to none. And t
He ...18 holes Thursday at own course, 9 Friday evening at the Dunes, 36 at the Dunes on Sat and 18 at Machrihanish was the most golf I've played in 4 days and I loved all of it especially when I was level par for the first 7 at Machrihanish today! At least i cleared the beach at the first with one of my best drives of the weekend. This weekend has been a great boot camp for my golf game as i am hitting the ball better then ever. Looking forward too getting some more games in during the summer with forum members at home and away.

Mach is a great course, just the shockingly poor greens that killed it for today. A result of a terrible winter monsoon season and a strong rumour of greenkeeping error! Not by me I may add!

A great weekend with a great bunch of guys !
Big thanks to Crawford for the great organisation.
Would've been the perfect weekend if I'd holed the 6 foot birdie putt on the first instead of leaving it an inch short. Might lose some sleep over that one.
Still, the front 9 today was the best golf I've played in a long time !
Time now for a wee hauf. :p

Another fantastic weekend with the bhoizzz

Full review to follow later.

Well done Dr Ray a worthy champion.

One of the new boys:-)
Great wknd, truely outstanding courses,greens,apart.

The Dunes gets my vote as the better course but not by much.

Big shout for Crawford, great job mate, and to all my playing partners.
Gonna go tee-total next yr even if to try and not come last on the Sunday!!!!

This is probably a stupid question but when you go on one of these tours are wives, girlfriends/boyfriends or partners allowed if they don't play golf? Mine sometimes likes to walk the course for the views etc. and is good at sniffing out balls......! Or are non golfing female partners a no no?

Are you really saying your wife/girlfriend is good at sniffing balls?

I'm sure she'll be welcomed by many if that's the case

;)
