Lowest ever handicap

I played in oy club "open" competition today and came 4th in the overall handicap comp with a nett 68 + 73 and finished -1 nett for the 36 holes with a handicap reduction to 11.1. Sadly .1 was added for the afternoon round.

I think that I was the oldest player in the comp and due to have a hip replaced around Xmas, so I consider I did well just to walk 36 holes - roll on next Sunday's comp!!

I will be 59 very soon. There were a lot of young low handicappers (guests), apparantly trying to accumulate "order of merit" points for the Kent Order of Merit

I think I was actually the second oldest when I looked at the results
