Loss of direction.

Hitting the irons quite well imo. Trouble is I seem to be having difficulty getting the flight direction.

Would I be right in assuming it could be solely down to my alignment?

Some of my long shots seem to fly left. They're not hookshots. I feel as I'm aligned properly but my divots do point slightly left.
Other factors I've considered could be an out to in swing which I may be guilty of.

Sorry it's a bit vague but any simple advice would be very welcome. I have enough swing thoughts when addressing the ball without loading my head up with anything overcomplicated.

Could be any number of things to be honest such as ball position having it to far forward can lead to hooks or pulls to left I am speaking from experience on this!! Or it could be alignment or swing fault or a combo of the lot. Book a lesson with a good Pro and He/She will have you back on the right track after a 1hr lesson at most
