10 miles in 1 hour 33 minutes, I hate living on the top of a hill

I'd finish at the bottom of the hill, and either get a lift back up or just sleep at the bottom until I do.10 miles in 1 hour 33 minutes, I hate living on the top of a hill

Real chicken and egg scenario isn't it? The lighter you are the less you have to drag around, but to get lighter you have to move.So 5k time trail, was supposed to do it yesterday but wasn't feeling brilliant. So up early this morning, 0.75 mile warm up into a 3 minute walk then into the 5k. The aim was for 8:10 minute miles.
Felt good through 2 miles averaging 8:05, got too 3 miles and kicked on for the last little bit. Ended up with 25:12 for my 5k, second fastest time of the year. I'm so happy with this as I've probably missed 5 months of the year through injuries. In October I went from 5 miles a week to completing the GSR and have slowly been pushing on.
Would just like to lose some more weight too make it all a little easier![]()
It's a solid run, sometimes easy is better then hard.Well was up early again this morning, so decided to go for a run.
13.5 miles in 2 hours 10 mins, about 9.48 mins per mile, so not a great pace.
Cardiovascular wise, felt terrific, had loads in the tank, but the body was kicking back, lower back really sore from the start, then my groin started hurting, then just to top it off my hip was causing me issues.
Job done, but body feeling it.

77km/48mi this week. What’s yours?First week of the month is almost gone - what’s your mileage? 25m/40k for me, including one day off. Appreciate it it’s not much by standards of some of the regulars on hereMight do another easy run tomorrow.
Excellent that, just over 18 mile for me taking my monthly total to just over 52.77km/48mi this week. What’s yours?
How do you approach it re: hydration/carb load etc pre/during/post? I’ve been taking nothing on my long runs but they are typically 10k-14k (less than 10m), I just do recovery post.I’ve got a 15 mile easy next week
