Now I can take it when I lose a ball from a bad shot, from a slice so bad it nearly comes round and hits you in the back of the head.

But don't half peeve me when I hit a blinder and it clears the green into the farmers field.

Or when you hit a good drive you see where it lands, your playing partner sees where it lands, but when you get to where it landed it's mysteriously vanished like a minature UFO has swooped down and abducted it.

have to agree with the latter, I always seem to lose a ball on the 4th at ours, just off the fairway in not to heavy rough.... vanished as if some golf ball nicking pixies live there!!!

to be honest it snot a blinder if its flown the green an straight into the farmers feild for a lost ball

Ohh it is when you 200+ for the green and you catch you 23.5 degree rescue out of the semi rough sweet, it sounds good, it looks good and then you realise it's gone :(

Its called Course Management.

If you have a hole where the trouble is long make sure you take long out and vise versa for trouble short etc. ;)
