Anyone got or used Orka or KZG irons?
What do you make of them?
What do you make of them?
One of my friends just bought some of these for Scott, they are so sexy in the flesh. http://www.kzg.com/sites/courses/layout9.asp?id=588&page=65115
Thanks guys - I'm getting fitted next week and these brands are two of the options. I'm familiar with the other possibilities but not these.
Sounds like positive recommendations.![]()
Just get a set of old swilken blades with some ladies graphite shafts in them and you'll be sorted
You're good enough to play with anything:thup:
D4S I had a chance to go for the 1st day, but had to pass as i've too much on. Your right about the other site as it seems dead at the moment.
Dodger I had a look at the stuff D4S has got and they are quality without a doubt. KZG make some of the finest forgings you can get and all done in Japan, and like D4S says you will need to get them from a proper club fitter who knows what he's doing. However they have put up their prices significantly since I got mine, and you can be looking at Miura prices in the UK now, and when I bought mine they were much cheaper, than now. So if you can afford them don't bother as you may as well buy Miura.
My mate got some KZG's late last year after using mine, but because of the price increase, had them done in Florida and he got them for a third of the price. he was going on holiday over there, so googled KZG fitters in the states, and found one 20-minutes from where he was going. he contacted them on-line and told them he wanted some CBIII irons and could they fit him on a certain date, then have the clubs ready a couple of days later - sorted and at a great price. He took a flight golf bag with him full of garbage and brought them home without paying any tax's.
I think we all know that she won't get a better fitter than where she's going!
