After my putting thread then other day, I tried a two ball counter balanced putter. I felt it helped my stroke no end, however, I think I would like a more bladed version. I know TM make the spider blade that Rosey used previously, but can't find anywhere around me who stick them! Ideally I'd like to try on grass before I buy!

Anyone know a stockist near Glasgow where I can try out before I buy?

Also, are all counter balanced putters also face balanced?

Worth getting your hands on the spider blade if the mallet is anything to go on. I think tm make some tat thats a little fussy and with the shelf life of milk in a window but it galls me to say these just work! The counter balancing was an interesting and now welcome addition.

Tried a spider blade when I got the #7 tank, really liked it just preferred the tank.

They can be tricky to source though only one place near me had one, can you try one on one of the thirty day money back deals?

Where does the deals?

I've borrowed a spider mallet just now, but it's centre shafted and kills me on off centre hits! I also think the white/paint work is a bit shoddy. Really like the look of the odyssey #1 wide tank. It's £190 though!!!

Are you set on the blade type ? Had a try with the Daddy Long Legs CB last week - impressive , so easy to get a true roll going

Centre shaft one is not good for me either, heel shafted mallet is good!
All taylormade stuff has a shonky finish! When all the paint has dropped off mine in 6 months the whole thing is getting treated to a powder coating!

Not a fan of the "big clunky" look of the DDLL!

Are all odyssey putters face balanced?

I wasnt as well until i borrowed a spider one day and havent looked back since - one of the biggest reasons for my improvement

Golfbidder did have a few of the Rose CB putters on the site
