Sorry to see that, I hope you find out who did it and put them in one of the holes before it's filled back in. Not that it will make it any better but I played at Hamilton GC at the weekend and I'm sure the members would be wishing there greens only looked that bad. There last green keeper did a real job of ruining one of the best kept courses around this area.
Leaving aside the "why?", how in the hell did they do that? That has to have been done with machinery but I couldn't see any caterpillar tracks or anything of the sort. That doesn't look like kids to me, unless there's an unguarded building site nearby but I wouldn't have thought anyone would have been stupid enough to leave earth moving equipment lying around unprotected, it's worth too much money.
Really nasty to see. If they catch the 'orrible oiks they should be tied to the tees and their bum cracks used to hold the balls as everybody tees off.
And Smiffy, it wasnt you before you volunteer for tee duty...
That for sure has been done with a spade...
I really don't get why someone would do that, it must be someone with malice against the club??? I hope they are caught but I fear they won't get much in the way of punishment if they are.
A fox hunt was caught riding across my old course once. Why they thought it was allowed or ok, I have no idea. Safe to say they were told to get lost pretty sharpish!
