Leaving aside the "why?", how in the hell did they do that? That has to have been done with machinery but I couldn't see any caterpillar tracks or anything of the sort. That doesn't look like kids to me, unless there's an unguarded building site nearby but I wouldn't have thought anyone would have been stupid enough to leave earth moving equipment lying around unprotected, it's worth too much money.

There's an ulterior motive at work there I think.
I agree too much damage to be kids

I've played Seaford Head many times and it sickens me to see this! It's probably THE best kept muni for miles around and I'm sure it wont be long before the greens are back to normal.

Seems to me that someone has a grudge with the club, but in no way does it justify that kind of vandalism!

Does anyone at the club have any idea who would might have done this?

Golfmmad.

There are quite a lot of issues with a proposed new clubhouse and seaford town council reinvesting profit the course makes into other areas and not the golf course, and lots if minor bitching as usual!

sorry to see that, played there a few years ago and saw 3 twats on bikes cycling on the 5th green. its too open to joe public and they do not care where they walk, which is off puting, and they do not realise what damage a golf ball can do.
hope its sorted real soon

shagster

Really sorry to see that, played it a few times & really enjoyed it (apart from the walk up the 12th!). Hope the green staff get it back to scratch soon. Doesn't look like machinery or bikes to me, hope you catch those responsible.

That looks like someone on a serious revenge mission. Revenge what for though - being told to get off the course or some other trivial matter that upset their feelings?

Good spot. Not the first ancient thread resurrected recently. One question...Why?

Probably people doing a search and not noticing the date of the OP. The solution is to automatically close threads after a set amount of time imo. It's done on the board I'm a Mod on. Admin have set it up in the VB settings I believe.

As this a resurrection of a thread from ancient history and is obviously confusing certain peeps, I'm going to use my super mod powers to close the thread.
