Sad to see significant damage done to Trump Turnberry.

Greens have been dug up, broken lights and sprayed graffiti.

Very hard to see The Open ever returning there anytime soon even if he plays a part in bringing the professional game back together in the future.

The Open imo won’t go back there until there are new owners

Whatever people's views on the owners politics, that course brings jobs and money to people in the area. They are the ones being hit by this, not the owner.

Never mind the people who have saved their money for what was potentially a trip of a lifetime.

Morons
My understanding is that the protest is largely about the middle east. I don't agree with the protest but in the overall context it is rather trivial.

I suspect the course will be repaired and sorted a long time before whatever their protest is about will be sorted

Pretty much everything is trivial in comparison to what is going on in the Middle East, certainly golf, hotels etc. This protest won't make a jot of difference to the outcome though.

I hope they find those responsible and lock them away for a very long time. I mean like your kids grow old without you time.
We fine other folk for vandalising the countryside and ruining roads polluting the water supply etc by fly tipping for profit by organised criminals.

I hope they are caught but we are not going to imprison them for petty vandalism

However I do think we should be jailing some of those at a Senior level in profit driven water companies who deliberately pollute our rivers as obviously fining them doesn’t seem to work.

Absolute idiots and hope they're caught. There's a strange dynamic about people who think they hold the moral high ground thinking it's ok to destroy other peoples property and disrupt their lives.

First world problems eh? Poor old Donald, having to foot the repair bills and some rich folk who can afford to pay Lord knows how much for a round of golf will only get 17 holes in.

Get him out of the country.

Yep, if you're so inclined we can trivialise absolutely everything and focus all attention on the biggest issues facing the world. Maybe we should ban golf, in fact all sport, all hobbies and dedicate 100% of our time and effort to what (probably whoever shouts loudest) has decided is the priority for the world. I'm off to put my clubs on eBay and buy a 'Free Palestine' flag with the proceeds
