I was actually thinking of Blue Mountain, Bird Hills, Downshire and Mill Ride as they are withing a 15 minute drive of each other and we don't get such bad rush hours.

I just love the idea of a game being 14 down with 28 to play. Hope it was you who played well to pull back 12 holes - or did your oppo just collapse across his trolly after 62 holes leaving you a free run at it?

I think if I am being realistic this would need to be done at a local level. I've got HTL and myself on board for a Surrey challenge but its easy to register on the Macmillan site so anyone on here can get a team (or teams) and give it a go.

No, I'm just really competitive, and got focussed. I'm a bit fitter than him too, which probably helped. Made for some good banter over the last 18 though!

I have been off this week so I have played since 6 till 9 which is 14 hours i just cant get away from the game its the best

As an update I'm still looking at the 4 courses in one day route and have written to Birds Hill, Downshire, Mill Ride and Blue Mountain as they are nicely grouped which will keep travelling time down. If any of these won't help I'm looking at Birds Hill as first choice to play 4 rounds on, followed by Downshire and Blue Mountain.

At the moment HTL and minty18 are definites so I'm looking for one more to make up one team. We can enter more than one team per venue so if anyone else around the South East (or further if they want to travel up the night before) wants to join us please let me know. I'm sure it'll feature in the magazine as well!
