Hi all

having never undergone a loft and lie check, can you guys advise on how much this generally costs?

I assume that you pay for the checks, then any subsequent bends are priced individually?

I know there will not be a definitive answer, but just general costs would be a help

Thanks

i had my old set checked and only a couple of the irons had moved and had to be re set to the correct angle, these of course were forged irons. Got it done at the place that sold me them and it was £18 i think.

I think that it's about £20 at Clarke's Golf near Rainford (also at Shaw Hill IIRC). I don't know if they charge extra for adjusting them though. The set I had checked (an old set of MP32's) were all where I wanted them to be..

Not at Shaw Hill anymore - shop shut at the mo. Think new pro's coming in are from Chilli Dip Golf from Blackrod.

Didn't know that.. I know Clarke's have just opened another shop in Formby.. Any idea who's idea it was to change?

Edit, forgot to add.. The guys from Chilli Dip are good. I've used them a few times and always been a good experience..

Interesting

do you know which one? Thats were i get my lessons.

I asked big Ray the club fitter last night about a L and L check, but they do not offer one currently (no room for the bench)

Is it the driving range over at Formby where the shop is (that's a total guess, I don't actually know)?

Think there's a couple of them going to be covering Shaw Hill but don't think anyone's coming into the shop till end of this month so should find out more then.

well if you end up getting a similar set up / shop as the Chillidip store you will do well

Lots of gear, great prices and good service IMO. They are also the reason i am dripping in Oscar Jacobson gear :D
