Line m up

It's a ball marking aide Dave, called Line M Up. Puts a crosshair type mark on your ball with the premise that you see the long line run "true" if you hit it well or "wobble" if you don't.
Tried one and didn't find it did anything for me.

I have been using this for as long as i have been playing golf, does anyone else use it ? or a similar product ?

I've been through a few of these line-up gadgets.

These days, I just find the <name of ball> on the side of the ball and extend the line each end with a permanent marker.

What I've noticed is just how often the <name of ball> isn't even close to the equator. :)

I used to balance my balls too (ooh, er) using one of Ralph Maltby's secret methods.

I tried it but found it took me too long to line it up where I wanted to aim so never bothered again.

I felt this way, but persevered. I had no choice, because during my putter fitting, I discovered even on a 4-5 foot putt, what I thought was straight was about 2 inches outside the right! :(

I line up the ball, then set the black line on my putter along that line. It seems (even two years later) that I'm aiming about 2 inches too left.....

Works for me. (Until I start flipping the damn face....)

Maybe you should aim with your dominant eye rather than with both ?
