I need them, I want them and I am going to get them, my question is who/what/where.

I live in Humberside for those that know the area and can suggest people personally, but I have a few generic questions.

Precursor. After a major operation on my knee last year, and honestly I was not that good before that I want to start from complete scratch and build up from being a total novice.

Who, how do I pick who I get lessons from. Is there a site to go to, certain qualifications I should be looking out for, should I look for someone around my own age (23) or someone much older?

What, what type of lessons? They come in many different packages, what is best for me?

Where, range or the course? I can see the benefits of both, but which would be best for me as a total beginner?

Price, what should I be looking to pay per lesson/per hour.

No replies because they are difficult questions.
Alot depends on the individual.

Who
Preferably it will be someone who you click with and you wont know that until you go and meet a few. Go and visit a few courses and chat with the pro and see how you get on.

What
Depends on your budget. If you can afford a series of 6 lessons, the pro will be able to cover the basics of the game
Putting, chipping, pitching, bunkers, fairway shots and tee shots.

Where
Grass range would be my choice, finishing the course with a free playing lesson.

Cost.
For where you live, I'd say around £30 an hour would be average.
