We worked today on keeping the right elbow tighter to the body on the backswing to stop the over swing which caused the club to cross the line at the top, to start the downswing with the left knee moving left so the hips open a bit more to allow the hands to clear through and to finish without pulling across the body. The sequencing took a bit of work but the results were very good. This is a clip towards the end of the lesson

Be gentle, I'm not getting any younger!

Just kidding.
A little under plane going back, a slight throw at the top putting you back on plane and good results.
Dont change it, groove it

Cheers Bob

Most of the work was on the leg and hip movement and the sequencing at the time that video was done. When I got the sequence right I loved the result and even the driver worked well

Playing these kind of little loopy swings is an easy way to change the shot shape when required.

If I absolutely can't go left, I will aim a little left, take it way inside and throw the club over the top. The ball cuts away from danger.

I had a 4bbb winter league match today, I employed the swing changes we worked on yesterday and they worked really well, in fact, I played to about a 6 handicap.
