I had an hour lesson on Saturday, the irons and driver were both behaving themselves so we worked on a lot of short game stuff, learned to play some low fading stingers for shots out of the many tree lined fairways on my course and chatted about some of the mental side. I came away really buzzing
Played in the big comp today and hit the ball poorer than yesterday but scrambled well and putted better than usual and finished 4 under with a 79 off 12 = nett 67. This was helped with a great sand save and 12 foot putt on the 18th par 3.
Just have to wait for How Did I Do. com to tell me tomorrow whether some 22 handicapper came in with a nett 63??
Main thing is that I should be back down to 11 handicap for next week!!
