Shorts on yesterday and today so looking a bit less white - although they get so brown that even through winter they keep some colour. Range today and looked in the mirror and aghast to see the signs of old woman knees - depressing!

This vision of "old women knees" had me laughing.

Shorts all year for moi only covered with Gary Green's when necessary. Legs never get cold so why cover them up. Got a nice deep salmon pink pair that will make their debut appearance tomorrow in Vice Captains day.

Yesterdays weather in the centre of the universe ( Mansfield) was better than today and my shorts were on with the low socks. It is the first time I have have had mother dew on my forehead since last August. Got in the bath and elbows, neck and shins were tingling.

Of course they do on old wrinkly men with white legs and varicose veins rounded off with knee length white socks and dirty shoes.

My shorts were ironed and ready for today's outing, but it's a tad chilly and overcast still so they're getting covered up today, they might make a show in the garden later though if it warms up.

I have a rule. Unless its forecast to be above 20 degree Celsius then it is not shorts weather... That applies not just to golf but to life in general lol. I did almost break it yesterday as boiled on way home from work so went out for evening in shorts but my car said 21 so I let out a sigh of relief

Was in Egypt all Christmas and new year so my legs are summer ready 😉

No drama of not because I'm back there on the 18th of this month.

The only thing with wearing them on a course is the amount of bites you get when looking for balls
