Legs in or out?

My shorts were ironed and ready for today's outing, but it's a tad chilly and overcast still so they're getting covered up today, they might make a show in the garden later though if it warms up.

Major mistake, was sweating buckets after 2 holes, should have gone with my instinct :(

Don't think I have ever worn shorts whilst playing golf.

Happy to hide them, as may put off my golf partners!

Played in a club match today and I think we had an 8-4 split in our team in favour of knees out. Looking at us, I'd have thought it would put the opponents (Reading GC) off but it didn't work :(.

Well the midges were out in force yesterday in the sweltering heat, contemplating the shorts now for today's strokeplay board comp, if so I will need my Jungle spray as we've got horseflies the size of bats around the holes that run by the side of the river and the 3 ponds we have on the course.

Don't make the same mistake twice. get them on.

Off to lee park for 9 holes of the par 3 next door then our back 9. really fun comp this. enjoyed it last year. the par 3 is in some nick.

Will wear shorts every time i play now until around October - on the odd occasion on an early morning start may put the white trousers on

Wore my shorts today and got plenty of abuse and pish taking, could have been worse though, I could have played in white trousers and looked an even bigger nob 😜

Got my legs out for the time this afternoon, my god they were white, I've also got the 1 hand tan syndrome already, so, are you a shorts person, will they be out this weekend and do you get them out at the earliest opportunity?

NB: This thread does not apply to Leftie who's never grown out of shorts yet :smirk:

Has to be shorts here, it's just too hot to play in trousers (might get away with it occasionally now we're in winter but you'd get some funny looks)

Trousers are much smarter but just impractical, tried trousers once about 4 years ago, nup not good
