Leccy Trolleys

It did appear to be heavier than the others, but that's no bad thing as long as it's more robust as well. Aside from that, if I'm not the one lugging the kit about it doesn't matter to me how heavy it is :p

I also checked it fitted in my boot with my clubs as well. My clubs have to go in at an angle (and with the driver and 3-wood taken out of the bag) but the trolley fits on top fine.

After seeing mine I can understand how some people get into trouble with the "send it on its way" feature.
It says in the handbook to be aware that it will freewheel once the supposed yardage is up, so if you send it downhill it would run much further. Maybe better trolleys with distance measuring would measure out the predetermined distance before cutting the motor (and maybe braking too) but I'm sure mine will just engage the motor for a set number of seconds, so weight, slope etc will affect how far it actually travels before it stops.

I too was told in the shop that it's made by Powakaddy. Apparently, the guy that started Powakaddy sold it, then started up again as Hillbilly. Powakaddy bought him out again but included a clause in the contract that he couldn't start up again as another company doing the same thing.

Whether that's true or not I don't know, but I do beleive they're the same company because there was a Powakaddy warranty card in the box as well as the Hillbilly one. I don't know if it was supposed to be there but they were in exactly the same format and style.

It also might be true that they make more on Hillbilly's, but as long as I've got a goodun I don't mind.

I had one of these and they're great. Only got shot of mine as I play flattish courses and having a small car couldn't get trolley and clubs in the boot. Now I have a Powerkaddy Twinline 3 wheel pusher it all goes in no problem. if space hadn't been an issue I wouldn't have got rid of it.

Make sure the wheels go on the correct side - won't work if you get it wrong.

I've got a Powerbug (because I got it cheap on ebay) which is a virtual chinese copy of a Motocaddy S1, mostly the same electronics, motor etc on a slightly different frame.

Their price new doesn't make them terribly attractive though.

Ive got the same, and for the same reasons, it fits perfectly into my small car boot. Perhaps if I get a bigger trolley I will be allowed a bigger car.......nah, false logic, who am I trying to kid HID would never buy that one. :(
