My putter is toe weighed and the recommended stroke is an arc. My stroke is more straight back, straight through. If I put some lead tape on the heel side, will it help at all?

Thanks.

Putting lead tape on the heel side will help, but adding weight to bottom and top will only make it heavier.

Unless you grip down the shaft considerably!

Why are you considering a 'counterbalanced' putter?

Btw You can use Balance Certified (that's a brand) weights in the butt rather than an enormous amount of lead tape! I used one for a bit and it's still somewhere in my 'spares' box! http://www.balancecertified.com/

Thanks. Just wondering about counter balanced. Its mainly the fact that I'm straight back straight through, but the toe flow weight is closing the face. Putts going left.

I would have thought the tendency (for SBST action with Toe Hang putter) would be for putts to leak right! Unless you are a lefty of course! Could be more a wrist/hands problem - or line-up. What size grip do you have? Going to mid-size took my flappy wrists/hands out if the equation.

Could well be time to simply try a Face Balanced putter! I have several, but all Centre-shafted and 33". There are some Anser style ones available though.

Yeah, you could possibly be right. Not 100% sure either. I've got a Ping grip, its not small, but its fairly big.
