OK, nearly made up my mind on a stand bag but just have one final question. What is the ideal number of dividers. I have a 15 way divider on my card bag but is this necessary on stand bag. Some seem to have as little as 4 whilst others have the full 14.

Having looked at all the options I am down to the final 3. I have upped the budget a little but am standing firm at under £100. Having thought about it I really do not want to big a name splashed across it so have come down to the following:

http://www.onlinegolf.co.uk/product/Nike-Golf-Xtreme-Sport-Carry-Bag-III/p53224.aspx

This has an 8 way divider

This has the full 14 way divider and has reviewed well so I would up my budget for
this.

This is the budget option

You are all probably bored of me by now but this is the final post on this. The order will be placed tomorrow to get it by the weekend.

Why would you ever need 15, the maximum permitted clubs ia 14!!!!

No idea, have always wondered why it has 15 slots. Cannot be for an umbrella as there is a slot for that. Answers on a postcard please :D :D

I find the 7 in my Mizzy Aerolite more than enough.

The 7 in the old tm stratos was perfect, that's all I miss with the new tm as it only has 4 or 5.

The only down side to 14 way deviders is weight, if your carrying full time weight saving is key in my opinion

Online golf are selling 2010 Ogio Ozone bags for £99 with free postage. That's where my money would be heading.

I'd pay a bit more and go with the Nike bag. Always found it a faff having less than 14 dividers, and can be a real pain trying to get clubs out of bag with fewer dividers.

Golfmmad.

That nearly made the list and if they had it in the 'stealth' design I may have gone with it. As it is they only have the white and orange design or the black and strange multicoloured pattern design. I am a bit old and do not have game for something so 'obvious'.

Think i have replied to you before got the nike performance and it fits a trolley too. very light and plenty of pockets...3 are still empty and can all be used on a trolley

If you really want the Ozone, I would hang off for a while as the 2011 range will be out soon and you might pick up the 2010 range cheaper at more outlets

Would never buy a 14 way divider again. I've had two cart bags with 14 way dividers, the padding around the dividers has come away badly on both because the gaps are too small. When taking the clubs out, the grips rub/ snag the padding and pull it back up through the holes all the time. This happened on both bags. My standbag has 7 dividers, way easier to use.....

I like this one:

Or this one:

http://www.onlinegolf.co.uk/product/Ping-Golf-Hoofer-C-1-Carry-Golf-Bag/p78817.aspx

Out of the 2 though I like the Ping. With the Pings I like the way the bottom of the bags sit flat on the ground.

If the Hoofer is anything like the Latitude v2 with regard to where the straps are attached then I'd avoid it. On the Latitude v2 the straps are attached along the seem of the bag and I've sent mine back twice now because the stitching has come undone and I'm in the process of getting it replaced with something else.
