Well it's that time again. I watch it every year and as Auld Lang Syne fades I become a bit introspective and say my farewells to Summer.

It's one of those annual milestones that serves to make me focus on the fact that we're into the last knockings of the golfing season and that The Masters and new season is rather a long way off.

Still, you gotta laugh, ain'tcha? :mmm:

I watched a bit of it last night purely because the antibrexiteers were rumoured to be having a protest giving out thousands of EU flags https://www.theguardian.com/music/2016/sep/07/pro-eu-protest-planned-for-last-night-of-the-proms they had collected over a thousand pounds to pay for them.. all I can say is if that were the case there must have been several million spent on Union flags. Good rousing sing song was had by all including those in Hyde Park and in Belfast..
