Langer, Ryder Cup wildcard????

Langer has played once on the USPGA Tour this season, at The Masters where he missed the cut, and once on the European Tour, at the BMW International Open, where he finished 61st. Hardly likely to scare the bejesus out of the US players.

Probably still better than Harrington to be honest. Rose is a shoe in for a Ryder Cup berth. Casey I would also give the nod, if one of the Molinari brothers fails to make it, I'd be tempted to gamble on them.

Harrington has been chopping, Quiros or whoever have had there chance to make the team and not taken it. Casey & Rose have played most of there golf in USA and can be an asset.

8 top tens out of 17 events and a 69.9 stoke average aint bad according to Harrington's website.

As it stands 3 from Rose (WR20), Harrington (16), Casey (9), Molinari (37), Quiros (42), Hansen (48), Davies (52), Karlsson (26), Garcia (50), Clarke (100), Stenson (26), Wilson (58), Noren (73) and Wood (86) would all come above Langer for me (1991 and the cheating American crowd knocking Hale Irwin's ball back on the fairway still too clear in my head)
