Now I am looking to do a bit of experimenting, and I am wondering can I get away with using a lady's driver head and re- shaft it with a "very" manly shaft ? I cannot imagine that the head will be weaker than a gents club. Any opinion on this ?

I would imagine they will be weighted to launch very high as, I suspect, the majority of Laydee Golfers have slow swing speeds.
Stick a "manly" shaft in it and you may be bothering passing Dreamliners...
Can't see a reason to want to do it...

my cousin was playing a womens 13degree driver. he mentioned putting a mens shaft in it. ill ask and see if he ever got round to it or if he is even still playing it?

Might also have a lower overall weight than a gents head, which may make the finished swing weight, er, interesting........

Well they do come in some rather daring colours ! And yeah it's to do with he available lofts (costs look low as well). Head weight is an interesting point that I had not considered, would mean a hot melt may be required. As for hitting dream liners, aren't they grounded at the moment ?
As for manliness well no issues for me when I belt it past people and then tell my fuschia pink driver is made for ladies :) .. I won't wear white trousers though!!

he always said he was 10 yards shorter with the womens driver but down the middle. hes playing an offset driver which he says "suits him".

he has a swing and grip only a mother could love. hes quite strong and has a decent short game. never had lessons and just worked on things till he found a swing / grip that gets him around. plays off 13.
