L.A.B. Sold

The fakes I have seen have been used to dupe persons into buying what they think is real High end kit, can't say I've seen anyone proudly brandishing a set of fake clubs.
Equipment doesn't need to be fake, plenty of lower cost imitations direct from china if you so want.
And as putters are as low tech as it gets it won't make much difference.

Dug my DF2.1 out from down in the cellar a couple of days ago....have been having a practice with it over the last couple of days....still cant stand the light metallic ring when the ball is struck, and it is quite "slow" off the face....but the results (accuracy and distance control) have been surprising to say the least.

Will throw it in the bag for a laugh on Friday...see how many skins it can deliver. :ROFLMAO:

I've never liked him and that has never changed, but I think he's spot on here with both assessments.

I recently tried a few LAB putters in a PGA Tour store in the US. It had a massive indoor putting green, so you could practice all sorts of lengths. But I just didn't seem to get on with it. Eventually, I tried a TM Spider they had on the rack (similar to my TM Spider that I have now had for many years) and it just instantly felt better, and I made much more putts.

I don't know if I am just so ingrained to my putter now that I can't use another, but I'm pretty happy I've not had my head turned considering the cost of putters these days...
Yeah, I agree with him too. He doesn't say zero torque is rubbish, he just points out that it's being marketed as the holy grail for everyone, whereas really it's just another option to try in your fitting and see if it works for you or not.

Same with mini drivers, they're just high-lofted drivers with a shorter shaft. If that's what you want then go for it. 🤷🏻

Yes the whole concept is not new, zero torque and lie angle face balanced have been around for a while, just being hyped massively atm , as for mini drivers, theyll be out of fashion again soon enough 🤣

Holed an 8 footer for birdie on the 17th to win 7 skins which had rolled over. Other than that I found the "hollow" metallic ring was a total distraction and I really didn't enjoy using it.

Put it up for sale on ebay this morning at a good buy it now price, and it took about 5 minutes to sell (price was obviously too good!!!).

My Bettinardi didn't deserve to be dropped, I've said sorry to it....but no doubt it has the hump and I'll three putt everything tomorrow.

Similar to my relationship with the square to square and Scotty, it was a cheap and short fling. I had therapy, we had two romantic weekends away and our relationship is revived.
