I'm new the the forum and am enjoying the banter and chat, however, I have noticed a couple of members ranting on at each other, they probably know who they are? I can't say it's putting (no pun intended) me off, but, hey guys, don't spoil what is a great form of entertainment. Kiss and make up have a round together, wouldn't recommend putting money on it though!!!!!!!!

Welcome Pete,

You'll find a few members who have a go at each other whichever forum you're on - I'm on forums in Ireland, USA and UK and there are always arguments going on about something. Try not to get involved is my advice. As long as you stick to the topic you should be OK. I usually enjoy watching the banter - shows how 'passionate' we are!

Hi mate,

don't know if I said welcome before, but please don't be put off by a few having a go at each other, there is still loads of helpful stuff and advice and lots to get involved in.

Where do you play mate and what level are you at ?

Cheers

Midnight...

Thanks Midnight, just thought some of it was a bit strong, but I'm learning, unlike my golf!! I play to 17 at Traditions in Pyrford a parkland course with loads of water, not long, but a thinkers course. It's part of the Crown group. However,I'm currently out of action recovering from a back injury, I tried the range yesterday, I was hopeless and it was probably a bit early.

pete, welcome.

you have to consider the time of year, sinews are twisting, as already it's too much to bear the thought of it being half past dark by lunchtime.

anyway there are some big girls blouses who like to scratch!

Mate,

I am also a member of Crown in Hampshire , so some time next year we will have to meet up somwhere for a game . Hope the back sorts it self out .

Hi Homer,it would be a pleasure to walk around the track with you,as I've mentioned I'm currently out of action with a back injury which is p*****g me off, feel and walk like a muppet with one leg with nothing to show for it. Are you a winter golfer? Coz when I'm fit I'll be straight out.

Yeah, welcome Pete and well put Midnight.

I think Pyrford itself is the one you're thinking of. Its just down the road from Traditions and I think allows visitors weekdays and weekend afternoons (probably pushing it now then to get round with the light). I think there was a review in the review section

I am a winter golfer and more than happy to wait for your back to heal so we can go out and have a fun knock round
