I hit 3 70 yard pitches today and wondered why on earth all 3 were flying across the green and off the back when I was striking it well and not knifing it. Finally, after the third I looked at the club I had in my hand and I'd picked a 6 out of the bag. Not really sure how I managed that. No wonder I was clearing the green!

Well at least I had the last laugh this evening.

Went out against the correct oppo, one of the better matchplayers at the club (to the question have you got the right opponent from pretty much everyone I saw lol). 3 bogies and 2 birdies and the rest pars enough to win 4&2 Onto the next round and enhanced the bracket lines on the draw so i cant get it wrong again haha
