in last month's rules quiz there was a question regarding playing the wrong ball. in stroke play if a player finishes a hole with a wrong ball and fails to correct his error before making a stroke on the next teeing ground, he is disqualified. this makes sense in pure stroke play where you achive a score over 18 holes (contrary to match play where each hole is scored seperately). but what about stableford?
in a stableford competition too each hole is scored seperately. shouldn't the penalty of disqualification apply to the one hole only?
i know this is not part of the current rules, just an idea for a future amendment

Good idea but it is part of the current rules. That's exactly what Rule 33-2 says.
