Joined my first club yesterday

Just got back from the range. I asked the person who was on the desk at the pro shop. I said I've just joined and want to start putting my cards in for a handicap, but I don't know anyone at the club and so I don't have anyone to play with who can sign my cards.

He said he's pretty sure that I can just sign them myself and pop them in the box when I'm done. I'm not so sure on that, think I'll ask again when I go play on Friday. He did say if there's any problems the handicap secretary will be able to sort someone out. I'll be able to start meeting people there now anyway so shouldn't be like this forever.

Ask if there are any roll ups you can join in with.
Good place to get to meet people and get cards signed

Would be very surprised if they would accept cards not marked/scored by someone else.

Thats my thinking too, I'll double check when I play on Friday. Good point re the roll ups. I'll ask about those too.
