John Daly at it again!

I see that Daly has chucked in the towel at the Australian open after dunking 6 in the water at the 11th and running out of balls D)after taking a triple at the hole before!

I wonder how many times this guy gets a chance to ruin tournaments before organisers stop inviting him.

He is stealing money from someone else by going to these events. The guy who is first reserve for the tournament who needs to make money to keep his card/ pay his mortgage/ feed his family etc has dipped out whilst that waster chops about for 6 holes before giving up!!!!

You can't even say he's there as a crowd puller...............they've got Tiger and his circus FFS.

Excellently put Robobum , some bloke praying for a call up to try keep his card doesnt make it then he hears of him doing this , spoilt kid syndrome , il be honest at first i thought he was a breath of fresh air , seen him at an irish open in Druids Glen years ago he was on an appearence fee & didnt give a sh1t , arrogant , banged it left & right for 2 days missed the cut & swanned off. seen him at opening of the Heritage in portlaoise , was very funny the first few holes he lost intrest then & just stomped around like a bear , been well paid to be there aswell, european tour need to tell him shape up or ship out

If he hates being on the golf course so much, which is how it seems, then why doesn't he go and do something else. In fact I'm sure it's not good for him, as he needs serious help to get through his various issues.

Why do people want to watch boring golfers who play the percentages? Bring back the big guns who take risks. Having watched Daly on numerous occasions in the UK, it has to be said that he is far more interesting to watch than the current crop of $ seeking guys in tour!!

Rather watch Daly than any of the anonymous jobbing pro's that clutter up the golf circuit.

At least he's interesting.

He's not taking anyones place as he's usually there on a sponsors invite, if it wasn't him it would be someone else with a "name" not Houston Davis the 15th or his like.

I thought the idea of paying to watch the professionals was to see golf played of a quality we can only dream about!!??

Give the guy a break,he is human and i would rather spend time on the course with him than some of the robots being churned out at present,we play golf for enjoyment and watch it on tv for the same reason and does it not get boring watching tedious par after par,with john you never know what is coming and the game is better for the likes of him,how many of us have spat the dummy out or thrown a club or walked off.

The tournament had enough publicity with Tiger playing in it but it has even more now.

Glad to see they have told Daly he won't be playing in their PGA in a couple of weeks but wait see, I'm guessing they will have a change of heart.

Bad form really. He should have finished the round out of courtesy to his partners.
