Sun is shining at my end peeps but its still cold! Question for the greenkeeers or whoever else would know....

The cold weather, is it good for the course? I mean I know that frost causes fungi micelium(sp) and makes the greens brown but i was thinking yesterday, if it stays cold, the ground should firm up and it wont be as soggy. Its like my memory foam pillow, when it gets cold it doesn't squash as much.
