Is this sneaky or what ?

it was done awhile ago when the xbox launched, loads of adverts showing an xbox box and stating xBOX

Not really sneaky.
The word "camera" is only mentioned with regard to the strap.
As always on eBay - and anywhere - it's buyer beware.
If someone buys this expecting a camera as well then I doubt eBay could do anything about it. It's been truthfully advertised.

In a Newspaper in US once, a guy advertised "If you send me $1 I will send you nothing in return"
He made a couple of hundred from it.....

I am with Imurg on this one, at no point does the guy mention camera, I have a few iphone 4 boxes and accessories left over from our last phone refresh in January, if I put them onto ebay would that make me sneaky? Some people buy equipment without original boxing and want it so they can either sell it on, or complete the accessories that should have come with it. Sometimes the accessories are quite expensive and buying the original box with bits can work out cheaper.
Now, that said, there are some daft people out there that will see the box and think it is complete. Even though the photos are very clear.

No I think its sneaky, an advert should be clear, and you have to read this ad through to make sure it is the box and all accessories and not the camera, also why not show the question? As always its buyer beware but, although its not dishonest the ad is designed to fool the unwary.

Implying to me that the majority read the description and realised that there wasn't a camera with it.

I can understand why people thought it was sneaky but the description was accurate......

What are you going to do with it Bob?
