a pint in Portmarknock is about €5.00 you can always go to the legendary "Tamangos" were the crowd goes.
The Portmarknock Links is a cracking course and the Island is pure class. The hotel is also getting revamped at the moment as well. Is it better than Ballyliffen I would say probably not but it is a change and only about €15 in a taxi from Dublin airport for overseas guests.
