Irish meet in 2012?

I was talking last night with a mate and we were looking at getting our trips for next year tied up and we were wondering if there is a possibility of another Irish meet and if so where and when??

Any of our Celtic cousins any thoughts??

It's on the back burner at the moment with an eye on what if anything happens re a Ballyliffin type meet.

I'd say if it is to happen, It will be a similar date to this years do.
I suppose there would be a few questions need answering by those interested again this year ie one/two days, what part of NI/ROI and price. Two dayers would probably involve playing a club that had two courses again to facilitate us unless it was a mid weeker?
Still need to talk the missus round just a minor detail!

You could go to the like of enniscrone and county sligo and stay in Sligo. There would be a little bit of driving on one of the days but Ballyliffin was very good last year!

Im from co sligo gc. Great club and very challenging course with some great holes and one of the best par 4s in the country!

I think a deal similar to what we were given for Ballyliffin would be desirable. £150 for two nights B&B and 2 rounds of golf is fantastic really, if the financial downturn continues, who knows what other offers might arise before the end of the year? Without a special offer of some kind, it can turn into an almighty expensive weekend.
