I'll take care of all this philosophizing by sharing the epiphany that I had as a young man.

The universe is merely the random confluence of sub-atomic particles moving in the vacuum of infinite space.
Forward infinity is easy to understand.
It's just more of the same forever.

Backwards infinity is impossible to understand.

But what was before that?
And even before that?

Fortunately, it doesn't matter.

Relatively soon, my sub-atomic components will metamorphosize to a form that doesn't sustain thought,
and at that time, my short run will have been completed,
the extent or lack of its significance to be pondered by entities whose own short runs will soon be over as well.

I think that this firmly falls into the category of unintended consequences.

Was Iran’s military on high alert as a result of the USA killing its General and then Iran sending a bunch of rockets to US based in Iraq? .....Yes

Was Trump responsible for the airliner being shot down by Iran? .....No

I do not like Trump at all, but you cannot hold him responsible for the actions of a foreign military unit in another country.

I agree that it wouldn’t have happened if the General was still around, and hopefully it will act as a catalyst to de-escalate tensions and start a process that will stop Iran becoming a pariah state

The Pompeo press conference is interesting. He is usually almost arrogantly confident and calm in his answering questions - but under pressure here he stumbles and sounds hesitant to answer at times. Almost as if on the fly he’s trying to form statements that won’t incriminate him in the future - or at best cant be held up as outright lies.

The US/Israeli organisation being talked about is the Website used to provide “proof” of the incidents mentioned - so it’s not exactly a “balanced” source hence why 90% of the website is blaming Iran without major proof

YOB, when Tashyboy started his coal mining career back in 79. The pits were rammed with Polish and other Eastern European miners. Most having stayed after the end of the Second World War. They were bloody good workers. I don’t have an issue with migrants, but it has to be controlled and they have to recognise our laws. Our fine upstanding members of parliament saw fit to open the floodgates to not just Europe but the rest of the world. Suffice to say Joe public thought stuff that and it was one of the reasons why we voted to leave the UK. To control migration. I don’t think most people are against migration but are these people skilled. And the resounding answer is no. Our NHS is rammed with drs and nurses from all over the globe And they are welcomed. And they do a good job. But me I would sooner see our government pay to train our own kids. At the moment our future nurses are funding themselves to try and get work in our hospitals. How’s that right.
