iPhone problem!

I and others have posted this problem before without anybody in Golf Monthly Towers doing anything about it, but I'll try again. Not all the time, but quite often, you get an error message saying "A problem occurred with this web page, so it was reloaded". Doesn't seem to affect any other websites, so it must be something specific to this forum website. When it happens it can make posting or editing a nightmare, because you keep losing what you have written, and in the case of editing you can get locked out altogether after 15 minutes, which happened to me this morning. Very frustrating!!!! :angry:

It's a device issue, or rather a software problem on the device. My iPad does the same, and a complete erase and restore will make it fine again ... for a while. It's certainly not specific to this site, even though you might well be thinking it is.

Im unable to use the private message function on the mobile site using Android. It keeps going to search no matter where I touch the creen

Its at the user's end; the 'phones cache being full of temporary files. Turn off completely and reboot.

I've tried that and it made no difference. Also problem doesn't happen all the time?

I use an iPad and I get it all the time but, typing the fault into the search engine, it seems like it's an unresolved Apple glitch that's been ongoing for a long while. I've seen suggestions of clearing the cache will stop it ..... but it doesn't for me!

I have noticed that the problem I described is particularly bad at busy times of day, when many people are viewing or posting on here. The website often becomes almost completely unresponsive and keeps giving the error message. Seems to work fine at 3 in the morning. It was particularly bad between 7 and 7.30pm this evening!
