I've had to scrub off the club comp this weekend.

Woke up Wednesday morning and struggled to get out of bed. I was in agony. My lower back was giving me some right pain.
It eased off enough for me to go to work but twinged all day. Able to get out of bed since but it's aching like a good 'un now.

The pain is at the small of my back to the right hand side. Anybody had this themselves? Any idea what it could be? Will it go away or does it warrant a visit to the docs.
Most depressing thing is that I obviously can't swing smoothly and fully for fear of aggravating it.

Had the bad back 3 weeks ago, cost me 76 quid to get it right couldnt even put my socks on.
If you dont go and get it sorted only rest will do.
Try doing some easy stretches and keep yourself moving.
Hope it gets better soon

Basher, I had simular pains last year and the chiropractor found my pelvis was twisted slightly (caused by sliding hips not turning through the ball amongst other things) if you stand back against the wall with both feet against the wall, place both hands on your hips and you should be able to feel one side further forward than the other, if this is the case pm me and I'll talk you through the stretches I was given, you can put it back in yourself, I had to do the same in my semi finals match of our club champ, I put it out on the range at about eight pm the night prior and was still on the tee at 8:30 sharp the following morning. ;)

Got some funny looks from the family as I stood in the hallway with my feet against the wall and hands on hips! :D

I think my pelvis is fine Justone.

Possibly muscular or trapped nerve perhaps? Strange how it's just the right hand side of my lower back, just above my butt!
