I am interested in finding out what, for those who's clubs do it,the incentive is??

For example,if you introduce a new member do you get an amount on your bar bill?

If you are answering could you let me know what your fees are and what the incentive amount is please??

i.e. Full Subscription amount = £800 amount received for introducing a newbie = £50

Cheers fellas.

£750 per year and the incentive is £50 off your next years subscription or behind the bar. Works for me as I'm currently introducing 3 separate people.

At my place the subs are £600 a year and you can get £50 off the next year for introducing a new member.

I am not convinced on the benefit to the club though. Most people introduce new members who have been playing as guests for a while and want to play with the current member's regular group so, in all likelihood, would have joined anyway. Still, better to give something back to the existing members than spend any budget on cutting the cost for new ones.

Personally, I would spend any available budget on integrating and keeping new and old members but that is just me.

Our fee's are circa £900 when you have added everything in. We get £100 of bar/food credit for introducing a new member.

£680 subs and £50 on bar card.

We used to get another £50 if subs were paid by the 1st April, but for some reason they stopped that.

I think Tain do something not 100% sure of the amount, Membership is £400 which includes £50 bar card.

Nairn don't as we still have a waiting list!

£1.000 and £100 on your discount club card so over £100 really. You also have to be very clear about just who gets the money and under what circumstances. We have had members trying to claim it for all sorts of reasons. You can also get a discount on your fees if you pay in full before the end of April.

Our subs are £600. If we introduce a new member outwith any deals ie they pay the joining fee then we get £100 off the next years subs. Trouble is (for us), this year there are that many deals going it is cheaper for guys to join the place without the aid of an introduction.
